1. Scope

These terms apply to the use of fluentandfearless.de and of the free course at start.fluentandfearless.de. Paid courses, once offered, will have their own terms.

2. The free course

The free course can be used without registration and without charge. There is no entitlement to the course being available at all times or remaining unchanged; I may update, extend or discontinue it.

3. Your right to use the materials

You may use the course materials for your own learning, and teachers may use them in their own lessons. You may not copy, republish, sell or offer the materials — in whole or in part — as your own course or product without my written permission.

4. No guaranteed results

The course is designed with care, but learning a language depends on many factors outside my control. I cannot guarantee any particular learning outcome.

5. Liability

I am liable only for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence. Liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law. This limitation does not apply to personal injury, nor to the mandatory rights of consumers under the Austrian Consumer Protection Act (KSchG).

6. Applicable law

Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
